Many of the proverb address woman as backbone of family, which hold true with the contemporary era of woman empowerment and its practices. Be it mere  an addition of extra coach exclusively for women in Delhi metro or running special  local  trains for women via Mumbai local , women are special and  the societies which have believed in this conviction have flourished and progress to the unparalleled volumes.

                 

             Islam as faith came to India through Arab merchants who settled  for trade around Malabar coast with them came the preachers and clergy and thus gave rise to an Islamic society , which has reached to the firm presence of 15 million today.

 Women are believed to be suppressed and exploited in the islamlic  society  and that has truth inhibited in it , the true picture of woman  has been  exploited and used in altered   manner  rather than portraying  Her in original and sublime manner as mentioned in Holy book and by Hadith of Prophet Mohammed, He himself presented by marriage proposal by a lady 17years elder to Him  who finally became His wife.

      

              Islam has been painted in poor light of extremism  due to few individual , which could be found in other faith easily. There is very thin line of difference between  being fundamentalist and being extremist .Islam requires  its followers to lead a disciplined life, the code of conduct taken into consideration therein is known as SHARIAH.  Shariah is the Jurisprudence of Islam  that engulf  distinct annals of discipline  which guide the Muslims to lead their lives.

As Islam is a flexible faith the Shariah has been used by many of the followers to their temporary  benefits  but in the long term one can’t take advantage of being stronger in any  respect  over the feeble .Through the years our society has witnessed many of the cases  including infamous  Shahbano and Imrana case which has put the Islamic  Jurisprudence at the stake and misused Shariah to  uneven volume and Indian constitution  was forced  to bring  about  changes in the  Muslim personal law  thereafter.

                                               Every coin has two facets like every  power has advantage and disadvantages.With respect to the increasing cases of domestic violence in extreme  cases domestic violence leading to death of spouse , has been drawing attention and raising brows. The jolts  of  free trial  come primary  due to  flexible  Muslim  personal law  that ultimately  delays  justice and we know justice delayed is justice  denied this ultimately  sparks debate of every sort and start speculation of Islam being a hardliner faith .

               

 As present there are thousands of  pending cases in the  court of India  in which woman has been exploited and Islam  is no exception. The judicious and sparing way of ceasing the violence against women  in Islam  would be framing higher power  steering  committees, which should include representative of law ministry  of India and constitutional expert along with clerics and representative of Muslim  personal law board and take on the challenges we are facing and framing better laws in accordance with Shariah  so as to ensure the non violence of women rights.
